Description:
Perennial growing to 1m by 0.5m
It is a herbaceous perennial plant growing to 1-1.5 m tall.
The leaves are arranged in opposite pairs, the leaves on the
lower part of the stem up to 15 cm long, decreasing in size
higher up the stem. The flowers are dark blue-purple, rarely
pink or white.

to Europe, western Asia and northern Africa.
